My rescue dog Charlie enjoying some ferret food. He loves the ferrets, they bite his toes and his cheeks if he sniffs them too hard/fast, but he has never lifted a paw or made a noise or anything at them, he definitely knows they are pets and not play toys, and that they also have great taste in food!

(The ferret in the photo that looks like Cyrano- who died two weeks ago- is actually a rescue as well I’ve been fostering named “Bear”, he looks like Cyrano, but acts like Calvin!)

We hadn’t posted pictures in a while, part because we hadn’t had a camera and part because Cyrano was sick. At first we thought it was an allergy, this was back in August, and ever since then it’s been this roller coaster of him being sick and getting temporarily better. The last few weeks he was on so much medicine and wasn’t eating, and this morning he passed away, but at least he wasn’t alone when it happened, and at least he isn’t in pain anymore.

R.I.P. Cyrano J. Weaselbee, it was no secret you were the favorite, and it won’t be the same without you.
